Chef & J7 are members of a hip-hop Collective called the War Tour located in the Bay Area. Between 2008 and 2011, members of their crew, including themselves, were putting out a ton of underground music. While touring heavily during this period, both MC's decided to combine some of their extra production and collab on an album together. Recorded rather quickly in between other projects, they released their album pretty much under the radar. Their single, "For The People" received some local radio airplay and was featured overseas on Japan's commercial radio stations.
